Amneris Fernandez' works were featured at the Venezuelan Community's "Venezuela:Tresors Caches" art show in Montreal. Subsequently the Venezuelan Community was invited to the National Assembly of Quebec where a print of Amneris' portrait of Simon de Bolivar , "Su Promesa, Nuestra Libertad," was accepted as a gift from the Venezuelan Community. Pictured to the right are: Mme. Mayra Parra, of the asociacion Amitis Quebec-Venezuela, and M. William Cusano, primier vice-president of the National Assembly of Quebec. |
